The Forum's appreciation and
understanding of Egypt's role in the region, and the potential for inter
Arab cooperation has resolved it to establish this Strategy Group.
Objectives
- The Strategy Group
will highlight the potential for cooperation between Egypt and other Arab
states both on a bilateral and a regional basis.
- The Strategy Group
will also promote investment in Egypt as a means of accessing Arab markets.
- Special events
shall be arranged to market the Arab world as a region of and for
investment, and promote interaction between the private sectors in the
various Arab states.
Strategy Group Work Plan
- Developing surveys on
related topics for distribution in Egypt and abroad.
- Publishing a booklet
on "Arab economies" on as regular a basis as it deems fit.
- Organizing and
coordinating with other institutions in Egypt and abroad to host related
events for the Forum's membership.
Governance
- The Group has a
chairman and a vice-chairman.
- The Group will hold a
minimum of one meeting per month, and is reporting to the Forum's Executive
Board. The Group may hold more than one meeting when necessary.
