S.A.E. She is also a Vice-Chairman of the Group’s affiliate company, the
Office for Studies & Finance, S.A.E. OSAF, established in 1981, which is one
of the largest management and corporate finance advisory firms in Egypt. Ms.
Khalifa is Founder and Secretary General of Egypt’s International Economic
Forum, which brings together a wide group of prominent business leaders,
whose objective is the highlighting of business opportunities and the
development of business links between Egypt and the international community
primarily through networking, open forums, conferences, and other special
events.
Ms. Khalifa
has also been an active member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt
for several years, having served as Board member 1995-1997 and Vice
President for Programs 1997-1999.
Ms. Khalifa worked for a number of years with General
Motors Corporation where she devised its feeder and passenger car industrial
program for Egypt. In addition, she has many published articles in the area
of privatization and economic reform. She is also an instructor of Economics
at the American University in Cairo (AUC), where she received her M.A
(1992), and BA (1985) in Economics and Political Science.
