Klaus Schwab is the President of the World Economic Forum. Mc Schwab founded the World Economic Forum in 1971 as a non profit foundation and built it into the foremost global partnership of leaders from business, government, and academia committed to improving the state of the world. He graduated trom the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich, the University of Fribourg and Harvard University. He holds academic degrees, including a Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering and a Doctorate in Economics. He is the recipient of academic honors and national distinctions, such as the Grand Cross of the National Order of Merit of Germany and Knight of the Legion D Honneur of France.
