EL MENYA CONFERENCE,
APRIL 1999

The Forum received an invitation from the governor of El Menya, Dr. Mostafa Abdel Kader, to conduct a one day conference with an Italian delegation headed by the Italian Minister of Industry which was hosted by the Forum, and which had previously expressed an interest in the investment opportunities in the governorate. The conference aimed at acquainting businessmen with existing opportunities in the Menya Governorate.

In conjunction with Euromoney Institutional Investors Plc., the Forum organized a conference entitled “Emerging Arab Economies: A Gateway to a New Millennium”. The conference was a great success with 750 senior executives attending from over 30 different countries.
