 Chairman Smith retired from the 105th Congress after more than three decades of public service.
He was first elected to the Oregon State House of Representatives in 1960. From 1969 to 1973, he served as Speaker of the Republican-controlled House. In 1973, Bob Smith was elected to the State Senate.
Four years later, he was elected as the Senate Republican Leader, a position he held until his election to Congress in 1982.
As a member of the United States House of Representatives, Bob Smith spent a total of seven terms, during which he served on both the House Committee on Agriculture and the House Committee on Resources.
While in Congress, Smith served as Chairman of the House Republican Research Committee's Task Force on Agriculture, and as Co-Chairman of the Congressional Beef Caucus. In addition, Bob Smith's dedication to community service has led him to positions of directorship on the First State Bank of Oregon, Key Bank, the Farmers Insurance Exchange Board, and the Board of Trustees of Willamette University.
 Klaus Schwab is the President of the World Economic Forum. Mr. Schwab founded the World Economic Forum in 1971 as a non profit foundation and built it into the foremost global partnership of leaders from business, government, and academia committed to improving the state of the world.
He graduated from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich, the University of Fribourg and Harvard University.
He holds academic degrees, including a Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering and a Doctorate in Economics.
He is the recipient of academic honors and national distinctions, such as the Grand Cross of the National Order of Merit of Germany and Knight of the Legion D’Honneur of France.

 Frank G Wisner was Vice Chairman, External Affairs of American International Group, Inc (AIG) in New York. Prior to joining AIG, he was the U.S Ambassador to India from July 1994 through July 1997.
He retired from the U.S Government with the rank of Career Ambassador, the highest grade in the Foreign Service. Amb. Wisner joined the State Department as a Foreign Service Officer in 1961 and served in a variety of overseas and Washington positions during his 36-year career.
Among his other positions, Amb. Wisner served successively as U.S Ambassador to Zambia (1979 - 1982), Egypt (1986 - 1991), and the Philippines (1991 - 1992).
Before being named U.S Ambassador to India, he served as Under Secretary of Defense for Policy. Prior to that, he was Under Secretary of State for International Security Affairs.
Currently, Mr, Wisner is the special envoy of the US in the Troika group for the negations about the future status of Kosovo.
 Amb. Robert Pelletreau served as Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs for the period 1994 to 1997. Prior to that time, he served as U.S Ambassador to Egypt, Tunisia and Bahrain.
His other assignments in the Foreign Service included Algeria, Jordan, Lebanon, Mauritania, Morocco, and Syria as well as senior positions in the Department of State and Defense while in Tunisia, Amb.
Pelletreau conducted the U.S Dialogue with the PLO. As Ambassador to Egypt, he joined the U.S delegation to the 1991 Madrid-Middle East Peace Conference, and as Assistant Secretary he travelled frequently to the region as a member of Secretary Christopher's Middle East negotiating team.
During this period, he also played a key role in the development and implementation of U.S policies towards North Africa, the Levant, Egypt and the Gulf, including Iraq and Iran. In 1997, Amb. Pelletreau joined Afridi & Angeii, an internationai law firm in Washington D.C, New York, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah and Islamabad and a network of cooperating firms throughout the Middle East.
He currently sits on the U.S. Advisory Council of Israeli Policy Forum.
 Richard Ensor is the Managing Director of Euromoney Publications, which is a cross border business to business publishing and information provision. Mr Ensor graduated from Oxford University and worked with the Sunday Telegraph, Hudson institute and NM Rothschiid.
He has published a number of books, especially within the field of Business and Finance. Mr. Ensor initially joined Euromoney in 1976 as an Assistant Editor, and became a Director of Euromoney in 1983. He later became Deputy Managing Director on May 12th 1988 and Deputy Chief Executive on October 1st 1989.
