Initiatives  Global Speakers Series
 The Global Speakers Series is a series of high profile exclusive events featuring global leaders from the worlds of business, politics, academia and arts, with the aim of informing the Egyptian public and debate on the most pressing issues of our time. Through a series of monthly events (1-2 events every month), the Series has already established itself as a flagship of the Forum, and a mainstay of Egypt's cultural life.
Categories
The Global Speakers Series is about more than giving attendees the chance to hear from dignitaries and world renowned experts. It is about preparing participants to think critically and engage in meaningful dialogue about a wide spectrum of issues that Egypt and the world are facing today. The Global Speakers Series is organized around the following six categories:
Business
Today's most successful businesses are no longer exclusively in the United States and Western Europe. Rather, globalization has enabled the rise of many successful business models in all regions of the globe. This category of events brings in business leaders and thinkers from around the world to offer the widest possible variety of experiences to best enrich Forum members' perspectives on business.
Geopolitics
States no longer have an exclusive hold over the field of geopolitics. The most successful private sector ventures operate with a keen awareness of world affairs and take advantage of geopolitical trends. To better keep our members abreast of global affairs, this category will feature leading thinkers in foreign policy and influential actors in current affairs.
Science and Innovation
At the core of global economic growth is scientific innovation. Those who understand the potential of modern science become the masters of the economy of the future. Science and Innovation events will feature leaders in scientific fields who demonstrate both achievement in innovation and the ability to elucidate those achievements to a general audience.
Culture and Arts
A novel or a work of art in one part of the world today is often tomorrow's global cultural trend. Today's artist or actor is the leader of tomorrow's great social movement. Speakers in this category will include cultural figures from around the world who have made a significant impact on their own artistic medium and on society as a whole.
Religion and Spirituality
Focusing on the immense impact that political and economic trends have had around the world, it is very easy to forget the power of religion. Conflict in the Middle East and uprisings in Tibet are just two examples of religion as the primary factor in important world events. The Religion and Spirituality category will not only feature speakers to discuss the influence of religion in the wider world but it will also bring in speakers who discuss the ways spirituality can affect the individual.
Development Pioneers
Economic development is not simply an observed phenomenon but has become its own field with different methodologies and schools of thought. This category of events will bring in both scholars and entrepreneurs who have brought a new perspective to the field of development.
