Ms. Loula Zaklama
presently CEO of RadaResearch has extensive experience in communications in
Egypt, acquired through 38 years of professional work, in this field. In
1962, Ms. Zaklama formed the first privately owned Advertising Agency in
Egypt.
In 1985, Ms.
Zaklama formed the first Public Relations and Marketing Research firm in
Egypt - RadaResearch & PR Co, and has been CEO of that company, from 1985
till the present time.
She has been part
time professor at the American University in Cairo, teaching Public
Relations courses, from to 1995 to 1998. In 1999, she has given the Public
Relations course at the Misr International University in Cairo.
Throughout her 38
years of practice, she has received recognition and awards from various
organizations: Area Vice President Middle East & Africa, International
Advertising Association (IAA) in 1990-1992, Member of the Board of
Governors American Chamber of Commerce Egypt in 1992 and 1994, Chairman
Marketing Committee American Chamber of Commerce in 1992-1996,
I.A.A. Vice president in 1996–1998, Member of Egypt’s International
Economic Forum Executive Board since 1998 till present time, and elected
Member of the Board of Gallup International in 2001 to serve for two years.
Ms. Zaklama received an IAA medal for outstanding services in advertising,
in 1986, Certificate of Excellence from the International Public Relations
Association (IPRA) in 1993. Selected as one of the 50 Leading Women
Entrepreneurs of the World by the Star Group, sponsored by IBM and Fortune
Magazine, in May 1st, 1998.
