The Forum’s second closed session was held with Dr. Richard Haas, who, in his capacity as a former member of the National Security Council, and current Director at Brookings Institute, shared with the Forum members American conceptions and views of the Middle East.

The Forum hosted a meeting with Dr. Richard Young, through which participants were given a presentation on Intra - European investment and its fluctuations. Also, the development of European investment institutions was also discussed, as was investment in the Middle East and Egypt.

In the third of its closed sessions, the Forum hosted Mr. Michael Schuloff, who as a former CEO and President of Sony USA shared his expertise in Information Technology and Business. The discussion centered on the  implications of recent developments in Information Technology for the Middle East.
