Seifallah Fahmy

Mr. Seifallah Fahmy is one of the founders of the Forum and serves on its current Executive Board as a Treasurer. He graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1982. Mr. Fahmy was admitted into the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1983. He however elected to pursue a business career and was employed at Alkan working with its Chairman, Mr. Mohamed Nosseir until 1987; during his tenure at Alkan Mr. Fahmy received the Salesman of the Year award from Beechcraft Corporation in 1984. Mr. Fahmy then went on to become the Managing Partner of Dyad, a marketing consultancy firm, which represented companies such as the Martin Marietta Corporation, and Texas Instruments, among others. He withdrew from the partnership in 1989. Mr. Fahmy is also a partner in the Delta Clothing Company (Mix & Match), a company that owns its own manufacturing facilities and a local and international franchise network. Mr. Fahmy was elected President of the North African Zone of the African Tennis Confederation. He also served as Secretary General of the Egyptian Tennis Federation from 1995 through 1997. Mr. Fahmy is also an avid golfer and has won the BMW International Golf Cup qualification event to the World Amateur  Championship in 1999.
